As members of Phi Mu we are always striving to do our personal best as well as deliver our best performance as a chapter. Below you will find a list of awards both from our national organization as well as a few individual honors.

Greek Week Awards
- Highest Gpa Award
- Nellie Hart Prince Academic Programming (Given to the chapter that has the most effective scholarship program)
- Lila Chapman Scholarship Award (Given to the chapter that has had the greatest improvement in scholarship based on the first GPA collected to the last GPA collected during the biennium and maintains a collective "B" or above average)
- The Philomathean Society- recognizes chapters that have are in the top 25% on the Commitment to Excellence
- 2020 Carnation Cup - The highest honor a collegiate chapter can receive. All chapters in the Philomathean Society, 31 this biennium, are considered. It is awarded to the chapter that is exceptional in all areas of operations throughout the biennium. A statement from Phi Mu National, "In addition to being a member of the Philomathean Society, Carnation Cup winner Kappa Eta at Nicholls State University was also presented with the Nelly Hart Prince Academic Programming Award, the Legacy Recognition Award and Honorable Mention for the Lila Hart Chapman Scholarship Award. Kappa Eta also received a “Three Star Chapter” designation at the 2020 Phi Mu Officer Academy for excellence in academics, finance and membership. Over the biennium, Kappa Eta matched to Quota plus additions in both 2018 and 2019 and has maintained above a 3.0 grade point average for all four semesters of the biennium, keeping above the all-women’s average. Although the award is based on achievements throughout the biennium, Kappa Eta greatly supported members when the Coronavirus pandemic occurred. The chapter set up mental health support for members and scheduled virtual check-ins among sisters. Kappa Eta also quickly supported the Black Lives Matter movement, demonstrating their care for Black sisters and people of color. Area Officers who work with the chapter said that this is an extremely well-rounded chapter, their operations always run smoothly, their sisterhood is very strong and their sisterhood events are always impressive. Kappa Eta received the honorable mention for the Carnation Cup in 2016. Congratulations to all Kappa Eta sisters on being recognized for your dedication to Phi Mu this biennium!"
