Family Involvement
Events for the Family!
Kappa Eta takes great pride in including our families in annual events! Our family events begin in the Fall with Phi Mu Family Day in conjunction with Nicholls Family Day. This event is a game day tailgate with tasty food and treats and opportunity for our families to mingle and hang out, followed by Colonel Football! Our Mother Daughter/Father Daughter events are held each Spring. Mother Daughter events for this year included a Mother Daughter Paint Party where mothers and daughters painted their own style of carnations together. Our next Mother Daughter event is held in May and mothers are invited to join their daughters in a tea to commemorate all things Phi Mu from the year as well as recognize our legacies. Our Father Daughter event this year was a family tailgate right outside of the stadium, followed by attending the Nicholls Baseball game with our dad's and father figures! Parent's Association
For parents that enjoy helping with chapter events we also have a Parent's Association. The Parent's Association is completely optional but offers parents the opportunity to assist with various projects and planning of family events throughout the year.
