Nicholls State University

– Kappa Eta –

Chapter History

The Kappa Eta Chapter of Phi Mu was founded on Nicholls State University's campus officially in 1967.  It was the first Greek organization on campus to officially charter and has been consistently operating ever since. Dr. Bonnie Bourg, a Phi Mu alumna and Dean of Women's Studies, hand selected the members of the chartering class.

Since then, the chapter has been dedicated to excellence in scholarship, philanthropy, and campus involvement. Kappa Eta strives to achieve the goals of our founders by adhering to their ideals of noble womanhood that have withstood the test of time.
